Company DCO in Vienna has relocated the head office. A conventional moving company was commissioned for the furniture and the rest of the inventory, but the customer wanted to know that the move of workstations with laptop, docking station, monitor, peripherals, printer and especially the critical servers and network components were in the hands of professionals.

Especially in the important planning phase, 6 weeks before the move, AVITIS was already fully involved and was able to contribute important know-how in IT-Logistics. 250 workstations were dismantled, packed and relocated in just one weekend and rebuilt according to the previously created seating plan.
The few but critical server and network components were professionally dismantled by technicians and reassembled at the new location as required and tested for the essential functions. For the IT service company of the customer DCO, they still acted as on-site hands & eyes support and gradually put the infrastructure, including server, network and WIFI back into operation.
For the 250 employees, the move was as little noticeable as the management wanted.?Laptop, docking station, monitor, keyboard & mouse worked at the touch of a button, the WLAN was fully functional and even printouts were a few clicks as usual.
